Take a moment to just breathe. Take a moment to think about everything you own in life. I don’t mean the shoes that you’re wearing or the cute outfit you have on or which model of the iPhone that you spend 99% of the day staring at. I mean the people.
The people you have known for years and years. And those you have only just met. The relationships that are in the past and the one’s that you have now. Think about how much these people have and still mean to you.
Think about how much they have been there for you and how much you have been there for them. How many memories you have share together; the good and the bad. Think about how much they have helped you become the person you are today. Think about how thankful for you for having truly spectacular people in your life.
Take this moment to think of all the places you have been to. All the people you have been able to meet and share experiences with. The laughs that have been shared. And the stupid moments too. The moments that just make you smile when you think back at all the amazing memories you made with people you love.
It might feel like it’s all falling apart right now. But just take a moment. And breathe. Stand outside and feel the wind (it might be May but I swear it’s still freezing cold) blow all around you. Feel it blow your hair around and just close your eyes. Feel. Let the emotions you constantly feel take the back seat for a while. And just take a moment.
Take a moment to think of how far you have come in life. How much you have grown and developed ever since you took your first breath. Look at yourself in the mirror and pick out all the good things instead of allowing your eyes to be diverted by the things you might not like as much.
Take a moment and focus. Remind yourself that you can’t let your emotions take over. You need to know what you want and go for it. Don’t let yourself feel suffocated by things that you can’t control.
So I’ll leave you with this to think about. Think about how many times you have thought you had had enough, that you couldn’t go on, that you couldn’t take it anymore. And then you got up, carried on, became stronger. So please remember that the next time you feel so close to giving up, close close to throwing in the towel and not getting out of bed ever again. Take a moment and remember how strong you are as a person and how strong you are because of all the people who love you.

Take a moment and appreciate the people around you. Take a moment and appreciate yourself. Remember how strong you are and how you can only get stronger. Believe in yourself and put yourself first for once. Be selfish. Be strong. Be brave. Be relentless. Be dramatic. Be you.
Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature.
